Make the craziest gun ever and go to town

Mothergunship, an upcoming title that has you creating the gun of your dream and taking it to the bad guys, finally has a release date. The title will be released on July 27, for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, priced at $24.99.

We talked about this title briefly at the beginning of 2017. I was pretty excited about the game finally being kicked into high gear, especially after hearing whispers about the game.

LAUNCH DATE CONFIRMED: #Mothergunship is coming to #Steam, #PS4 and #XB1 on July 17!

Now, don’t let the name of the game make you assume that this game is a pushover. It’s far from it. Having a chance to play it multiple times at PAX East 2018, we’re all in for a treat. From the same mind that gave us Tower of Guns, Mothergunship gives what made that game great and more. Imagine playing a bullet hell title, but from a first-person perspective, while being able to customize your weapons as you proceed.

I loved it so much at PAX East, I went back over and over. The game very smooth, thanks to the Unreal Engine 4 and a very talented developer. It was easy to get into, with either a controller or keyboard. If it sounds like I’m fanboying a bit, it’s because I am. I’ve harassed the developer, and I participated in Reddit and Twitter threads. Thankfully, soon we’ll have the title in our hands to play. And you mecha heads, you’re gonna love it.

July 27. Mothergunship. PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
