Fairy Tail Receives Another Spinoff Manga

By Josh PiedraJune 29, 2018
Fairy Tail

Kenshiro Sakamoto announced on Twitter that he will be drawing a spinoff manga based on Hiro Mashima’s character Happy. The official title of the manga is Fairy Tail: Happy no Daibouken (Happy’s Grand Adventure) and will be launching soon. How soon remains to be seen as no official serialization date has been announced just yet. Like the rest of the series, Kodansha Comics will be publishing the newest entry into the series.

This marks the second spinoff manga to be announced within the past week as Hiro Mashima revealed Fairy Tail: City Hero which will be drawn and written by mangaka Ushio Ando. That spinoff is slated to debut sometime this fall.

In addition, Mashima also announced that there are plans for sequel manga to Fairy Tail and that the details for that will also be coming soon.

Hiro Mashima may have just launched Eden’s Zero onto the world but it seems like Fairy Tail is all but over and done.

A key visual for Happy’s Grand Adventure was also released alongside the announcement. You can check out that piece of artwork below!
