E3 2018: Sea of Solitude is EA’s Next Indie Title

By Isaiah JonesJune 10, 2018

Sea of Solitude Announced at E3

With recent success of A way out, Sea of Solitude is the next indie game from EA. Sea of Solitude shows a young woman’s struggling with loneliness and is eventually turned into a monster. The game will feature how and why she turned into a monster and her journey back. The goal is to have the player embrace doubt, joy, and being human. With a beautiful art style and unique story Sea of Solitude will be released early 2019.

The trailer for Sea of Solitude can be watched below or found on Electronic Arts’s YouTube channel: HERE

Electronic Arts teases this game as follows:

“When humans get too lonely, they turn into monsters. That’s what happened to Kay. But she’s not alone – this ocean is full of creatures just like her. Finding them may be the key to changing her back. Sea of Solitude is an upcoming third-person exploration game from Jo-Mei Games. Join Kay as she navigates the waters of heartache, empathy, and hope.”
