Bandai Namco Set to Launch Brand New Network

By Josh PiedraMay 15, 2018
Bandai Namco

Bandai Namco Entertainment made the announcement that they have created a new subsidiary that will primarily focus on providing a better network/connection experience for their services. The new subsidiary will be called Bandai Namco Network Service and it is slated to launch on October 1 of this year. While game apps will be the first target of this service, Bandai is looking to expand this upgraded network to all of their services.

This comes after Bandai Namco began restructuring their subsidiaries back on April 1. They created Bandai Spirits as a toy and hobby company, merged Lantis into Bandai Visual to create Bandai Namco Arts and moved its arcade and amusement machine division to Namco and rebranded it as Bandai Namco Amusement. They also own and operate the animation studio Sunrise as well.
