While we previously brought you footage of Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA running on the Nintendo Switch. We didn’t have a release date to announce. Well, that’s all a thing of the past as NIS America has finally coughed up the release date.
Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA will arrive on the Nintendo Switch as of June 26, 2018. Everything present in the PS4/PS Vita/PC versions of the game will also be available in the Switch version. This includes the updated localization efforts.
In addition, the game will launch with two different special editions. The first is the Adventurer’s Edition. This edition will include a copy of the game and several other goodies;
- A copy of Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA
- Double-sided map/poster of Mysterious Maiden Dana
- Three Heroic Cards
- Reversible Cover
The second is a more expensive Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA Collector’s Edition. Priced at $99.99, this is only available via NIS America’s website and includes a bit more stuff to enjoy.
