Nintendo Switch 4.0 Update is Live

By William "Shadowz" KokOctober 18, 2017

Nintendo just announced that Update 4.0 is now live for all Switch users.

This update allows for recording 30 seconds of your gameplay as well as editing the clip. This can be then posted to either Facebook or Twitter. All is needed is to hold down the capture button and it will save the last 30 seconds of your recent play. Currently it only works for a few games like Splatoon 2, and Breath of the Wild.

Another major feature is that the Switch  now allows you to transfer user profile and save data to another Switch unit. The most important thing is to make sure that the account being transferred is linked to a Nintendo account and has sufficient memory. You can read the full details here.

Another features include 12 new  profile pictures from Super Mario Odyssey and Zelda: Breath of the Wild. E-shop now allows available for certain games. This option allows pre-load of the game to your system for quicker play when the game is released. News Channel allows even more customization. Lastly it allows for system to match update software data with local users.

You can read the full details on their support page.
