Cuphead Will Eventually Receive A Physical Edition

By Keith MitchellOctober 6, 2017
cuphead

Cuphead has been smashing success for Studio MDHR, and the amount of praise and broken controllers are a clear sign of this. The return of 2D gaming that’s hard as nails (I already beat it) and looks simply amazing. However, for everything that’s going well for the game, some people aren’t too thrilled about it. Why exactly?

Well, some were hoping for a physical release of the game. while others were looking forward to a collector’s edition of the game. Currently, Cuphead is only available via digital means. Accessible either via Xbox Live, Windows Store or Steam. Outside of that, there’s no way to get a hold of the game. At least for now, but that will all change in the near future per Studio MDHR.

We have plans — and will eventually have a physical release (collector’s edition, etc)! :)

That’s great news, especially if the collector’s edition ends up with an exclusive Cuphead or Mugman figure. Speaking of Cuphead physical stuff, don’t forget that the soundtrack is available now on vinyl. Of if you prefer your soundtrack in digital form, they got that covered as well.

If you haven’t checked out Cuphead yet, you’re doing a huge disservice to your self. Cuphead is an amazing 2D journey, back to the times where gaming required all attention. I love it, maybe just much as Dark Souls, and that’s saying something!
