PlayStation Plus Lineup for September Includes a Bonus PS VR Title

By Yhani JonesAugust 30, 2017
PS Plus Titles
Where did the summer go? With September right around the corner, PlayStation fans can expect to see the new lineup of free PlayStation Plus games to be updated in the store next week. The lineup features the usual two games for each PlayStation system, a bonus for PS VR owners, and plenty of other surprises.

Before getting into the new lineup, take a look at the PS Plus games that came out in August, which will be available until September 5th.

Just Cause 3 (PS4)
Assassin’s Creed: Freedom Cry (PS4)
Super MotherLoad (PS3)
Snakeball (PS3)
Downwell (PS Vita)
Level 22 (PS Vita)

If you thought that last month was an amazing lineup, checkout what games and deals drop in the PlayStation store for Plus members beginning September 5th!

inFamous: Second Son (PS4)
Strike Vector Ex (PS4)
Truck Racer (PS3)
Handball 2016 (PS3)
We Are Doomed (PS Vita)
Hatoful Boyfriend (PS Vita)

In addition to the fantastic titles revealed for September, Sony has announced that for the first time, plus members with the PS VR headset will also be getting a free game for the month. For PlayStation VR owners, RIGS Mechanized Combat League will be added to the lineup as a bonus.

This first-person arena-based shooter is a special game developed exclusively for the PS VR and released at launch with the new hardware last year. This exciting game provides the perfect mix of action and competitive sports with fun fields similar to that of football, basketball, and even motorsports.

Beginning September 1, the PS VR headset and game bundles are being reduced, so this may be the best month for you to pick one up!

The game Dead by Daylight will also be available to play later in the month from September 15-18 at no cost for plus members. After the free weekend preview, members are able to save 30% on the game until September 22.

But wait, there’s more! Fans of the free-to-play MMO, Neverwinter, can take advantage of a special pack including VIP time, a panther companion, and more all in celebration of the update: Tomb of Annihilation. This pack will be available from September 19 to October 16.

Along with all of the goodies being given to plus member throughout the month of September, don’t forget that through October 24th all PlayStation Plus members can still get That’s You for free in celebration of PlayLink’s launch. Check out more about PlayLink and their upcoming games here.

If you want to play any of the games lined up for September and more free games in the future, make sure you are subscribed to PlayStation Plus!
