Atlus has announced that the popular RPG, Persona 5, will get its own anime adaption. It’s already been claimed as one of the best RPG’s of our time, I wonder how the upcoming anime will stack up. Hell, if it’s anything like the opening for the game, I’m all in.

The anime is being produced by A-1 Pictures, who has produced animes such as Sword Art Online and Fairy Tail. No official release date has been set but we’ll see the anime in 2018.

This won’t be the first time that the series has seen an anime adaption. Persona 3 saw a four-part anime movie series, while Persona 4 ended up with two anime series adaptations. In fact, Persona 5: The Animation will see A-1 making its return to the series. They previously worked on Persona 4: The Golden Animation.

The original Japanese voice actors from the Persona 5 will also make a return for the anime. However, there hasn’t word on if we’ll see a Western release as of yet.
