Here Are The 2017 Emmy Nominations

It’s that time of year when the award nominations to go flying. This year has a few fun surprises, including a nomination for the popular Black Mirror episode, “San Junipero,” Alison Janey for Mom, a nomination for Barb, and a posthumous nomination for Carrie Fisher. It’s likely that The Handmaid’s Tale, Stranger Things, Westworld, Master of None, and Feud: Bette and Joan will pick up some wins, being that these are some of the most talked about shows of the last year. Still, as they say, it’s anyone’s game.

The 69th Annual Primetime Emmys, hosted by Stephen Colbert, will air on CBS on September 17, 2017.

About The Author

Sara Roncero-Menendez

A reporter by trade, Sara is a lover of horror, sci-fi, and all things pop culture. From indies to classics to even the strangest schlock, all movies and TV shows are fair game. She believes Batman is the most fascinating superhero, and that Silent Hill is one of the best horror franchises ever made (as long as you don't count the movies). Fun Fact: The only movie Sara will not rewatch is The Room -- once was more than enough.
