Microsoft’s E3 2017 Briefing Just Got A Tad Longer

By Keith MitchellJune 8, 2017

What’s that? Microsoft surely can’t show us both the Project Scorpio, it’s games and whatever else is has in store, in just 90 minutes? Well, Microsoft tends to agree with you and has just extended the length of the show.

In a recent tweet by Phil Spencer, he’s stated that the briefing is going to go over it’s original allotted time.

Xbox briefing Sunday will likely run longer than our traditional 90 mins. For those recording just a heads up. #XboxE3

Update: Looks like it’s being done for the games!

Yea, had some games that just didn't want to leave out to hit the time so made a call to just run a little long.

— Phil Spencer (@XboxP3) June 8, 2017

Now, exactly how much longer is anyone’s guess. I just hope it’s not that much longer, as Bethesda’s conference starts filling up not too long afterward. What is Microsoft planning for both those attending the briefing and the rest of us who’ll be home watching the stream? Speaking of which, don’t forget to check out our speculations for the conference.

Microsoft 2017’s E3 press conference will take place on Sunday, June 11 at 2 p.m. PDT / 5 p.m. EDT. The event will be streamed via YouTube, Twitch, and of course Mixer, in 4K.
