VIZ Media has announced several new titles for anime and manga at this year’s Anime Boston convention! Here is a quick rundown of what is coming soon to VIZ!
The new series set for launch this Fall and Winter include:
CHILDREN OF THE WHALES: a post-apocalyptic fantasy adventure
TOKYO GHOUL ILLUSTRATIONS: ZAKKI: an in-depth exploration of the artwork from Sui Ishida’s smash hit horror series
SP BABY: A new shojo series from the creator of HAPPY MARRIAGE
SHIVER: JUNJI ITO SELECTED STORIES: captivating anthology from the master of horror manga
The following new titles will be published under the Shonen Jump imprint:
DEATH NOTE All-in-One Edition: a new collection of the complete 12-volume series
JUNI TAISEN: ZODIAC WARRIORS: a tense actioned filled battle-novel
NARUTO: CHIBI SASUKE’S SHARINGAN LEGEND: an action-packed comedic spin-off focusing on one of the most-loved characters from the best-selling manga series created by Masashi Kishimoto
ASTRA LOST IN SPACE: a new sci-fi manga drama
THE PROMISED NEVERLAND: a fan favorite chilling suspense drama
VIZ also sent along the following press releases pertaining to the new titles
All of the anime titles, except for Shiver, will debut in November of this year. Shiver fans will have to wait one extra month until December. The Death Note all-in-one edition is slated for “Fall” while Naruto is slated for November. The remaining manga titles are all slated for a December release!
