#PrepareToDine Revealed to be Code Vein, Bandai Namco’s Newest Action RPG

By Yhani JonesApril 21, 2017

Bandai Namco has finally let us in on this #PrepareToDine hashtag used to promote their latest project. Officially revealed to the public, Code Vein, is a brand new third-person action RPG where players feast on the blood of their enemies while exploring the huge game world as they gain answers to its mysterious past. Take a look at the teaser trailer below.

Code Vein is set in a mysterious dark future where a strange disaster has brought collapse to the world as everyone knows it. Players will engage in this world as Revenants, fighting to survive and to satisfy their thirst for blood along with their choice in companion to assist in uncovering lost memories and finding a way out of this crazy demented world.

Players will need to test their skills in combat against dangerous bosses while using a wide range of powerful weapons. Devices such as Blood Veils are extremely useful in draining the blood of enemies to enhance their characters own abilities. Doing this will allow the players to change their form, increasing their overall strength giving them chance to utilize new weapon abilities with overpowered attacks.

By taking advantage of the weapons available along with each character’s special Gift, players will have the chance to strategize a number of battle conditions that suit their play styles. There is certainly much to look forward to with this new game and Eric Hartness, the Vice President of Marketing for Bandai Namco would definitely agree!

The talented development team at [our] studios is creating a tightly crafted experience filled with plenty of challenge that our fans crave along with a smart and engaging story that is sure to draw players deeper into the world of Code Vein.

Though we can’t expect to see Code Vein until 2018 on our major home consoles, I’m crossing my fingers in hopes for more information this summer at E3. Stay tuned here at The Outerhaven for more information about Code Vein in the coming months!
