The days continue to count down until the Nintendo Switch comes out. We’re now less than two weeks away, and more and more details are coming out that get more and more Nintendo fans excited!
Recently, it was revealed that digitally downloaded games would be tied to an account rather than the console itself. Well, as Nintendo Wire found out today, the first step in that is available to gamers now via their My Nintendo accounts.
If you have a profile there, you have the ability to select a “User ID”, which is presumed to be the ID you’ll use with your Nintendo Switch. This will likely be similar to the Nintendo Network ID you had for your Wii U.
Anyone who has an account can set up the ID, so if you want a specific name for yourself on the Nintendo Switch, go get it now!
