Will Phantom Dust HD Launch Before E3 2017?

By Keith MitchellJanuary 30, 2017

We all know that the Xbox brand has had it’s fair share of bad news, especially as of recently. However, it looks like there could be some light at the end of the tunnel. A game that everything has been looking forward to, Phantom Dust HD, was mentioned not long ago. Phil Spencer stated about a week ago that the game was still in development and is looking good, which was a relief. Now it seems that we may get the title sooner than expected.

Recently mentioned on Phil Spencers Twitter feed, he claims that Phantom Dust HD may end up shipping before E3 2017.

For those who are unaware, E3 2017 takes place during June 2017. This means that we would possibly see the title right as Summer 2017 starts. We haven’t seen or heard much about the title since it’s original announcement in 2014 and the 2016 E3.

Should ship before E3.

— Phil Spencer (@XboxP3) January 29, 2017

Definitely, some good news, especially since many people feared that this title would also be canceled. Phantom Dust HD is a remake of the original Xbox title and will be released on both Xbox One and Windows 10 PCs.
