PAX Is Expanding in to Philadelphia With PAX Unplugged

By Keith MitchellJanuary 27, 2017

When people say PAX, it’s usually followed by a direction; PAX East, PAX West, etc. However, that’s all about to change as Penny Arcade has added one more convention to their names; PAX Unplugged. This new convention, unlike its other siblings, will be focused solely on tabletop and card games. You name it, it will be there;

You name it, it will be there; Pokémon: Trading Card Game, Yu-Gi-Oh!, World of Warcraft, Magic: The Gathering and more! Don’t forget the Cosplayer, tons of cool stuff to buy and I’m sure there some video games there as well. Definitely will be fun for everyone!

PAX Unplugged will be an exciting analog-focused extension of our already existing portfolio of PAX events. We’ve found that the Tabletop parts of PAX have grown and grown to the point where we said, “You know what? Let’s make a show that’s just that.”

I know a lot of people are going to love that idea behind the event, but for my tristate fans and readers, it gets better. This event will be held in the backyard of The Outerhaven, in Philadelphia, PA! It will be located at the Pennslyvania Convention Center on November 17-19, 2017.

We’ll see you there when the time comes. But damn, did you ever think that would happen? Yeah, me either, but I’m super happy it is!
