New Final Fantasy XV Gameplay at E3

Game Director Hajime Tabata took the stage at Microsoft’s E3 press conference to show off some new gameplay footage from the upcoming Final Fantasy XV.

The sequence shown was referred to as the “Trial of Titan”. In the lore of the series, Titan is a recurring beast that is usually available for characters to use as a summon attack. If nothing else, the scale of the encounter certainly lives up to the name. As the accompanying Square Enix representative said, the video was meant to show off how fluid the battle system of the latest Final Fantasy is.

The footage displayed can be found below. Final Fantasy XV is slated to release on Playstation 4 and Xbox One on September 30, 2016.
