Jerry Lawler: “There Will Be 2 Monthly PPV Events, One for Raw, One for SmackDown”

By Clinton Bowman-ChristieJune 13, 2016

With the WWE Brand Extension imminent, some new news has come to light concerning WWE’s Pay-Per View schedule.

A reader of Prowrestling.net attended the 38th annual Superman Celebration in Metropolis, Illinois this past weekend, and during a signing session, Jerry Lawler told the reader and his best friend that WWE is planning to have 2 special pay-per-view events per month, one for Raw and one for SmackDown, with the only exception being the ‘Big Four” PPVs, SummerSlam, Survivor Series, Royal Rumble and WrestleMania.

We have reached out to WWE for comment on this story, and will report back once we have heard from them.
