Furi Gets a Release Date

Independent developer The Game Bakers have announced that Furi, their “all-boss combat-action game”, will be arriving on July 5th on Playstation 4 and PC. 

The game sports a unique aesthetic designed by Afro Samurai creator Takashi Okazaki and great music from artists such as Carpenter Brut and Danger. However, the true star is the intense one-on-one combat. Players will wield sword and gun to battle a series of  “Guardians” on their journey. These opponents are all unique both visually and in terms of their combat strategy. The back and forth of finding the pattern and moving in for the kill is fast paced and brutal. 

Fortunately, The Outerhaven was able to catch up with Emeric Thoa, co-founder and CEO of The Game Bakers, at PAX East 2016 to talk about the title and play through an early encounter. You can find the video below:
