Wowhead Giving out WoW: Legion Beta Keys via Contest

Blizzard Entertainment has partnered with popular fansite Wowhead to give away some beta keys for the upcoming World of Warcraft expansion Legion, but in order to win one, you’ll have to do a little bit of raiding.  Fear not as a lot of the raids can be accomplished through Looking for Raid (LFR). You merely just need the achievement and not any particular level of progression.

Blizzard’s announcement is as follows:

With the Legion Beta beginning this week, the first of many fansite and streamer giveaways has begun starting with Wowhead.

Wowhead will be challenging players to complete specific in-game achievements and selecting winners from among those who complete them. Each week will offer new achievements to complete, and an increasing amount of keys will be given away over time. If you’re ready to take your place within the beta, then head on over to Wowhead now to learn more about entering for Week 1’s giveaway.

Check back each week to find out which achievements will grant you eligibility to face the Burning Legion. May fortune smile upon you!

Follow @Wowhead on Twitter and Facebook.com/Wowhead.

World of Warcraft: Legion is Blizzard Entertainment’s sixth expansion for the series and launches on August 30.  This past Thursday, the Legion Alpha was discontinued and a closed Beta was launched.  Blizzard has sent out one wave of invites already and promise to send more out as the weeks go on.  All Legion Alpha players were automatically grandfathered into the Beta. Keep checking your E-Mail to see if you receive a Legion Beta invite.  If you have not done so, you can go to your battle.net account and into your beta preferences to check off which of Blizzard’s games you are interested in testing.
