WWE Pay-Per-View Predictions: WWE Fastlane 2016

By Clinton Bowman-ChristieFebruary 21, 2016

As we approach the next stop on the fast lane (see what I did there, haha) to Wrestlemania 32 in Dallas, we head into Cleveland for WWE Fastlane 2016, which airs tonight at 8pm EST, live on the WWE Network.

Last year’s event was highlighted by a #1 Contender’s matchup between Roman Reigns and the now-retired Daniel Bryan, and this year, we’re in for a different twist of the same Pepsi, with Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar and Dean Ambrose vying for that #1 spot, for the opportunity to face WWE World Heavyweight Champion, COO, and all around “good-guy,” Triple H at the 32nd Showcase of the Immortals, but before that, here’s the updated card for the show:

Winner Advances to WrestleMania 32 Main Event – Triple Threat Match
Brock Lesnar vs. Dean Ambrose vs. Roman Reigns

Chris Jericho vs. AJ Styles

Big Show, Kane & Ryback vs. Luke Harper, Erick Rowan & Braun Strowman

WWE Intercontinental Championship
Kevin Owens (c) vs. Dolph Ziggler

WWE Divas Championship
Charlotte (c) vs. Brie Bella

Sasha Banks & Becky Lynch vs. Naomi & Tamina

The Cutting Edge Peep Show with special guests The New Day

Kickoff Show:
WWE United States Championship – 2 out of 3 Falls Match
Kalisto (c) vs. Alberto Del Rio

With the sheer amount of stories mired around these matches at WWE Fastlane, there’s lots of ways that these tales can be spun, but to heck with all of that mythic shit. Let’s talk some pro wrestling.
