Supergirl TV series to air on October 26, “Be Super” trailer released

By Keith MitchellAugust 27, 2015

While news broke that there was a new Supergirl TV series being produced, there hasn’t been much about the show since the original announcement. Well that’s about to change, as we now know that the Supergirl TV show will air on October 26, 2015 on CBS. With the introduction of the news, comes a new trailer. Entitled “Be Super”, however the trailer seems to be the same footage we’ve seen before.

But what’s got me excited is we haven’t seen a Supergirl show on the TV or big screen in quite some time, and ever since “The Adventures of Lois and Clark” went dark, well it hasn’t been the same. Oh, speaking of the later, Dean Cain, who played Superman at one point, will make an appearance in the show along side the original Supergirl, Helen Slater. While it’s not clear as to what role they’re going to play, it’s geeking out the fans, myself included, to see them pay homage to those who came before and bringing them into the fold. It has been rumored that they may play Kara Zor-el’s adopted parents however.
