Rejoice Dragon Ball Z fans, Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden gets a Western release date

By Keith MitchellJune 23, 2015

When Bandai Namco first announced that they were working on a 2D Dragon Ball Z title, one that was similar to the DBZ games of Super Nintendo era, the very first thing out of everyone’s mouths was “is it getting a Western release”? Of course Bandai Namco was mum on details which left a lot fans pretty discouraged since the 3DS is region locked, until now that is as they’ve finally announced that Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden is indeed coming to the West!

Announced this morning via Bandai Namco US’s Twitter feed, we have confirmation that the title will smash it’s way onto North American 3DS’s on October 20, 2015.

So there you go DBZ fans, it’s coming! Make sure you grab a 3DS if you don’t already have one. Cha La! Head Cha La!
