Bandai Namco has a announcement planned for Tekken 7 on July 7

By Keith MitchellJune 29, 2015

A tweet popped up on the Tekken Project page, stating that on July 7, 2015 a significant announcement will take place. I wonder what it could be.

20周年を迎えた『鉄拳』プロジェクトから2015年7月7日火曜日に重大発表があります。ご期待ください! #鉄拳7 pic.twitter.com/ln9H9yU0ka

While July 7 is an important date for the Tekken series, as it’s also the 20th anniversary for the series, one can only imagine what they plan on announcing; The console release date, actual details on the PC release of the title, new characters  (Nina perhaps?) or something else.

One thing is for sure, whatever they plan on announcing, it’s likely going to be fantastic. Can’t wait to see what it is.

Tekken 7 is currently playable in arcades in Japan, however the console release date has yet to be confirmed.
