We’ll get our first look at the Dead Space remake tomorrow

Dead Space remake early look livestream

Tomorrow is going to be a bang-up day for Dead Space fans. Why? Because we’re going to get a look at the game in one shape or another. According to a few sources, including the official Dead Space Twitter page, on August 31st, 2021, we’ll get an early look at the development of the Dead Space remake. This early look will occur at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET, on the Motive Studio Twitch page.

During this live stream, not only will we get a look at the game, but we will hear from Dead Space leads at Motive, including Senior Producer, Philippe Ducharme, and Creative Director, Roman Campos-Oriola, speak about their vision for this remake. Alongside them will be the Dead Space Community Council, which comprises some of the franchise’s biggest fans who have been consulting on the remake. Odd, I never got my invite — I’m the biggest fan of all. Oh well.

I dunno about you, but that gives me the tingles all over. Being a massive fan of Dead Space, I’ve been yelling into the cold void of space of EA, pleading them to revisit the series that changed the survival horror gaming genre. Now with the remake being a thing, I’ve been dying to see anything regarding this remake.

Tomorrow is the day!

The Dead Space remake was officially confirmed after the rumors started making the rounds on the internet on July 22nd, 2021. The remake is only heading to current generation platforms, meaning the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Outside of that, we know that the game is being developed in EA’s Frostbite gaming engine, though I would have preferred Epic Games Unreal Engine 4/5.

I can’t wait until tomorrow, can you?
