With the reveal of Reina Mishima, another spawn of Heihachi Mishima, the Tekken 8 roster was made whole and official. When Tekken 8 drops on January 24, 2024, the game will include 32 playable characters, including the return of long-time mainstays and several new characters to the Tekken franchise. With that, we have a full Tekken 8 roster, and we can see all of the Tekken 8 confirmed characters.

Updated: Now that we know that Tekken 8 has a season pass (who didn’t see that coming?), we’ve added the upcoming character/s as well.

As for when you’ll get your hands on Tekken 8, the wait won’t be long, as Bandai Namco has revealed that a Tekken 8 demo is heading to the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC. As usual, the PS5 will see the demo on December 14, 2023, a week ahead of the Xbox Series X|S and PC’s Tekken 8 demo on December 21, 2023.  Regardless, it will be a nice holiday for many, as this will be the final hands-on before January 6, 2024, gets here.

This Tekken 8 demo will include the first chapter of the Tekken 8 story, entitled The Dark Awakens, Arcade Quest, and finally – a local versus mode. This time, we won’t be restricted to just playing online. However, only four characters will be playable: Jin, Kazuya, Paul, and Nina (My girl). I’m not sure what’s up with that, especially given that the recent previews show the new characters in action.

The Tekken 8 release date is January 26th, 2023, for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and on PC (Steam).
