Is Respawn Entertainment Already Working On Sequel To Star Wars Jedi: Survivor?

Respawn Entertainment shocked LOTS of people with how good Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was. The tale of Cal Kestis was gripping, the way they used the lightsaber and Force powers was engaging, and the visuals were stunning. That’s why the upcoming Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is one of the most anticipated games of the year. But even though the game isn’t out yet, many are wondering about what might happen after it. Thankfully, director Stig Asmussen seems to have hinted that another game in the series is very possible.

This came in an interview where he said:

“I always wanted to see this as a trilogy,” he told IGN. “How can we take Cal and the crew to new places beyond what we were doing in the first game? We had a pretty decent idea of timeframe where we wanted Survivor to take place, what the stakes were going to be, what the tone of the game was going to be, what Cal was going to be up against, and how the crew was going to factor into that. And there’s ideas of what we could do beyond that as well.”

Whether they get that third game will depend plenty on the game’s sales and reviews, but the odds are looking good. We’ll find out what happens next when Star Wars Jedi: Survivor arrives on April 28th.
