Eddy Gordo has been revealed as the first DLC character for Tekken 8. Eddy comes fully equipped with some traditional Capeiora musical instruments and a foot for anyone trying to throw hands. Gordo has been in every Tekken game since his Tekken 3 debut and has been in his own style ever since.
Check out some of his gameplay and mocap scenes, which are shown toward the end of the Tekken 8 Opening Video. was recently released.
Eddy is tacked on at the end of what seems to be the opening movie for Tekken 8, showcasing the world where fists aren’t afraid of guns or warfare. Eddy gets his time to shine and a message telling us when he’ll be available. Gordo is coming as the Spring DLC, while four more characters join him in the current King Of The Iron Fist Tournament. 
What new tricks will Eddy Gordo have in order to deal with the looming threats of either side in the Mishima War? Not much has been revealed to us( or Nina’s face) in terms of what to expect from Eddy for Tekken 8. I guess it’s just “stay tuned” for now. Gordo was leaked amongst other fighters last month. His appearance confirms that the leak had some validity, but hey, who’s still counting?
Tekken 8 will be released on January 26, 2024 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Steam.
