Kevin Conroy’s True Final Performance As Batman Gets Ovation From Fans Online

It’s always sad when an actor, regardless of who they are, who is known to be the “embodiment of a role,” suddenly passes. For many comic fans, the loss of Kevin Conroy was heartbreaking because he WAS the voice of Batman for numerous animated series, video games, and even one live-action appearance. Fans wanted to treasure every last voice line he gave before his passing, which almost ended in disaster until one last voice clip came out today.

The animated take on Crisis On Infinite Earths showcased clips for its third and final part, highlighting the destruction of key worlds. One such world was that of the DCAU, which brought Batman The Animated Series, Teen Titans and the Justice League cartoons to life. In the clip below, we see their world slowly being erased, and Kevin Conroy, one last time, proved why he is the true voice of the Dark Knight, and embodies him perfectly:

I got chills, how about you? Many others felt that way and commented on the post above about how much they loved that segment. If you wondered what I meant before by “almost ended in disaster,” I refer to Conroy’s lines in the game Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League. He returned to the Arkhamverse for that title, and his death in that game (real or not, depending on how you interpret the lore) was maligned because of how the character went out. The game overall was panned, and it’s even free right now because of Amazon Prime Day! So, for such a legendary voice actor to potentially have that as his swan song hurt many fans.

However, with this new clip, as brief as it is, fans rejoiced online and felt this was the true final chapter of the legend of Kevin Conroy.
