By William "Shadowz" KokJune 5, 2024

With little over a week away from release, ATLUS releases its launch trailer for Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance.

Giving one more look at the game, ATLUS shows off the events of Tokyo and reintroduces the conflict between Angels and Demons. The different ideologies that are presented to the player. We then see the new events included in the game’s Vengeance path and the new characters. We see Mastema, a recurring character in the series. As well as the Qadištu, composed of Lilith, Naamah, Eisheth Zenunim, and Agrat bat Mahlat. Lilith speaks of returning the world to its true form and how they will impede the player and cast. The trailer then wraps up with Yuko speaking of getting her revenge, Tao wanting to save everyone, and a visage of Lucifer descending on the lands.

Little after the trailer’s release, ATLUS updated its Fan Q&A videos. This time it features the game’s composer Ryota Kozuka. It answers some questions like what are his favorite demons and what was the influence he took when making the music for Vengeance. It was revealed that there are 89 new songs created for Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance. You can see the video feature below.

Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance will be released on June 14, 2024, for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Windows Store and Steam.
