Immortals of Aveum PC Requirements are Beefy

Electronic Arts and Ascendant Studios’ upcoming mystic shooter, Immortals of Aveum, releases in a few days, and as such, the PC system specs have been revealed. If you’re planning on playing on PC, you may want to pay attention, mainly because these requirements are quite high, even at the low-performance requirements.

Starting, you’ll need 16GB across the board in terms of memory and 70GB of SSD-recommended storage. Then, here’s when things start to get out of hand. The CPU and GPU requirements are quite high in the medium requirement and beyond. If you’re even considering playing at the high or ultra-performance levels, you will need a reasonably beefy and newer CPU and GPU. Specifically, two CPUs that are fairly new and were released in early 2023.

Regarding upscalers, Nvidia’s DLSS 2 and DLSS 3 will be present, as well as AMD’s FSR 2.2, meaning gamers should expect some high frame rates with any of the upscalers enabled.

These are the highest requirements I’ve seen for a PC game, perhaps ever. In comparison, these trump the requirements for Elden Ring, the most recent Call of Duty Game, and even the upcoming Starfield. This better be the best-looking and performing game with these requirements.

Low Performance (1080p@60fps)

  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X, Intel Core i7-9700
  • GPU: AMD Radeon RX 5700XT (8GB), NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Super (8GB)
  • RAM: 16GB
  • OS: Windows 10 / Windows 11 Recommended
  • Storage: 70GB (SSD Recommended)

Medium Performance (1440p@60fps)

  • CPU: AMD Radeon RX 6800XT (16GB), NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080Ti (12GB)
  • GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6800XT (16GB), NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080Ti (12GB)
  • RAM: 16GB
  • OS: Windows 10 / Windows 11 Recommended
  • Storage: 70GB (SSD Recommended)

High Performance (4K@60fps)

  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5700X, Intel Core i7-12700K
  • GPU: AMD Radeon RX 7900XT (20GB), NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 (16GB)
  • RAM: 16GB
  • OS: Windows 10 / Windows 11 Recommended
  • Storage: 70GB (SSD Recommended)

Ultra Performance (4K@120fps)

  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D, Intel Core i9-13900KS
  • GPU: AMD Radeon RX 7900XTX (24GB), NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 (24GB)
  • RAM: 16GB
  • OS: Windows 10 / Windows 11 Recommended
  • Storage: 70GB (SSD Recommended)

Immortals of Aveum is a brand new single-player experience, where you’ll play as Jak, an unexpected Triarch Magnus – an Unforeseen – who is thrust into the midst of humanity’s endless war for the control of magic, known as the Everwar. With powerful magic-wielders and legions of soldiers on both sides of the Everwar, Jak and the elite Order of Immortals must uncover the mysteries of Aveum’s troubled past if there’s any hope for saving its future.

Immortals of Aveum launches on August 22 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Check out the launch trailer from EA that features the up-and-coming artist Julian Jeanmarie, better known as Jufu.
