While the buzz and excitement for the figure-to-life figurines have died down a bit, recent games have been keeping it relevant. Like with Splatoon 3 and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. The new Splatoon 3 amiibos will have new outfits for players when scanned in the game. While the last amiibos of the Smash Bros. series is nearing completion. We have the upcoming Sepiroth and Kazuya amiibos that were shown prior. Pyra/Mythra and Sora being the last two remaining for the Season 2 DLC of the game.
While not noted in the slide, it is assumed that all forms of amiibo are accounted for in this number. This would include the Animal Crossing amiibo cards, and the limited Mario Cereal amiibo. We’ve come a long way since the back when it was released alongside Super Smash Bros Wii U and 3DS. From a shortage to a steady flow.
