Just last month Nintendo had announced we would get more information regarding the upcoming Nintendo Switch. Now it seems like that only will we get that information, but also some hands-on, as well as the company, has announced that they’ll be hosting a private five-hour event in New York on January 13th, 2017.
No word on what time the event will start or where the location will be, however, Nintendo did mention that they “will further emphasize some of the details that Nintendo plans to announce.” While the company hasn’t announced the venue, many people are very aware that Nintendo has its own headquarters which is located in New York, aptly named “Nintendo New York.” It may be a bit obvious on where the event is going to be, this is speculation on our part as there numerous locations in which the event could be held. This event will take place after the streamed event which will take place on January 12th, 2017.
The Nintendo Switch is Nintendo’s upcoming hybrid console, one that many gaming fans, including us here at The Outerhaven, are eager to get our hands on. The release date of the system has been rumored to be sometime in March 2017.
