Nintendo Switch Will Have More Accessories

Nintendo Switch

More details are being teased about the Nintendo Switch

. Nintendo CEO Tatsumi Kimishima talked with Bloomberg about what the Switch was and noted that while what we saw in the reveal video is the “core product”, that doesn’t mean that’s all there is too it. “It may be appropriate to call them accessories,” he explained. “Or it might be better to call them add-on hardware. It’s probably more correct to call them accessories. You can assume that there will be a wider array.” Also of note, is that though the Nintendo Switch doesn’t seem to support VR, Nintendo is still interested in the concept. “We are interested in VR. VR offers new ways of playing, but that depends on what kind of software can be played. If you ask us whether there are any possibilities, we can’t say no. It may be that we will build VR software titles, I think that opportunity is available to us.” Nintendo will reveal more about the Switch on January 12th during a very special presentation, likely, these accessories will be talked about more then.
