In February, Walmart and Teeturtle announced they were going to become partners for a bunch of licensed plush toys. The notable licenses are Dragon Ball Z, One Piece, SpongeBob SquarePants, Avatar: The Last Airbender, and many more properties from Nickelodeon. It is worth taking a look at them when you have a chance.

It builds on the already-live One Piece Reversible Plush collection (4”, $9.98), which is currently in stores and online.
The bigger picture: this is a multi-IP, multi-format retail play built around collectibles, blind boxes, and nostalgia – at under-$10 price points.
“The One Piece launch with Walmart exceeded every expectation, fans showed up in a big way, and we couldn’t be more excited to keep that momentum going. This May, we’re bringing three collections that span generations of fandom: Sonic for the speed fans, Dragon Ball Z for the anime legends, and Nick Nostalgia for everyone who grew up glued to their TV after school. This is exactly the kind of joy we set out to create, and we’re just getting started.” – Lisa Adams, CRO, TeeTurtle
Considering the success of this partnership, don’t be surprised if TeeTurtle and Walmart continue to partner in the future for other properties. If they can get some of the most popular anime and cartoon characters. They can likely get even more with the success shown in this partnership.
You can take a look online at the Walmart store website to check out some of the plush toys for yourself. You can even find them inside the store if you have one close by your location.
