Tommy became one of the defining artists of the 2000s through a unique musical and visual world, gaining fans not only in Japan but around the globe. In recent years, driven by the worldwide revival of Y2K fashion and pop culture, Tommy has attracted a new generation of fans, particularly among Gen Z audiences overseas.
A symbolic moment in this revival came with “Tommy february6: The Screening,” a live film event held in New York and Los Angeles in November 2025. The screenings offered fans the chance to experience Tommy’s historic live performances on the big screen with powerful cinema-quality sound, drawing not only longtime fans but also a new generation who discovered Tommy through streaming and social media. Both screenings sold out completely.
Now, this special screening event is coming to Japan.
“Tommy february6: The Screening” will take place on October 30, 2026 in Nagoya and Osaka, followed by Tokyo on October 31. Fans will have the opportunity to experience Tommy’s live performances in an immersive theatrical setting with cinema-quality visuals and sound.
Limited-edition merchandise inspired by Tommy’s unique visual world will also be available during the screening period.
On July 31, 2026, Tommy heavenly6 also surprise released “LIVING DEAD DINER GIRLS -HALLOWEEN-“, marking the project’s first new release in approximately 11 years. The song is a Halloween version of “LIVING DEAD DINER GIRLS,” originally released in 2015.
Blending Halloween, gothic aesthetics, rock, and pop culture, the new version delivers Tommy heavenly6’s signature world with a seasonal twist, serving as a surprise gift for fans who have waited many years for new music.
Tommy Best Album Analog BOX Sets Announced
Also announced today are Tommy february6 and Tommy heavenly6 Best Album Analog BOX Sets, scheduled for release on February 10, 2027.
These products will be released as limited-production premium editions.
Rather than simply reproducing the CD BOX released in 2009, each set has been newly produced in a deluxe LP-sized package featuring three 180g, 45RPM vinyl records, allowing fans to experience Tommy’s world in a premium analog format.
The BOX Sets also faithfully recreate the original exclusive goods, including binders and clear files. They are special collector’s items that longtime fans will enjoy, while also offering a unique way for the new generation of fans discovering Tommy through the recent revival to experience her work.
