Survive the Shadows with the Official Elden Ring Nightreign Companion Guide

FromSoftware’s latest dive into darkness, Elden Ring Nightreign, isn’t just another Soulslike—it’s a full-blown multiplayer roguelike nightmare where the night itself wants you dead. It’s also a game that I’ve found myself spending what little free time I have available.

As players charge into the ever-shifting lands of Limveld, braving cursed bosses and collapsing timelines, they’ll need more than just grit and luck to survive. That’s where Future Press steps in with this newly announced Elden Ring Nightreign Official Companion Guide, priced at $45 and releasing on September 30, 2025, over on the Bandai Namco online store and on Amazon.

I don’t know if you’ve ever checked out a Future Press book, but its previous works, such as the Dark Souls Trilogy Compendium, and the Elden Ring Books of Knowledge are pretty damn amazing… and expensive if you’re trying to track them down now.

Set to release this August (English) and September (German, French, Spanish), this guide is shaping up to be an essential tome for anyone looking to beating the everloving crap out of those Nightlords and learning a bit of lore along the way.

Whether you’re facing Limveld for the first time or you’re a seasoned Nightfarer already clocking double-digit runs, this premium hardcover guide is your lifeline. Not only is it stacked with deep-dive strategies and tips, but it doubles as a stunning art book and lore compendium worthy of any FromSoftware fan’s shelf. I already am planning on picking up this lovely addition to my Soulslike collection.

Speaking of which, let’s explore what exactly is included with this companion guide.

System Explainers: Nightreign isn’t just hard—it’s mechanically dense. This guide breaks down the roguelike systems, synergistic teamplay, and survival flow so you can start playing smart, fast. Whether you’re trying to wrap your head around Shifting Earth routes or Relic mechanics, it’s all in here.

Nightfarer Mastery: There are eight playable Nightfarer classes, each with its own unique playstyle, skills, and gear synergies. The guide covers them all—stats, skills, builds, and how to make each one your own. You’ll even get tailored loadouts and relic strategies for each class.

Limveld Uncovered: If you thought Elden Ring’s Limgrave was confusing, Limveld will eat you alive. Fortunately, the guide includes detailed maps and expedition breakdowns that help you target high-reward zones, optimal boss routes, and loot-rich locations.

Complete Bestiary: FromSoftware’s twisted creature design is back in full force, and this bestiary doesn’t miss a beat. Learn each enemy’s patterns, boss weaknesses, and how to coordinate as a team to bring them down. Bonus: Many foes are twisted homages to classic Souls bosses, and the lore connections are wild.

Items & Equipment: Every weapon, spell, skill, and item is fully catalogued, down to the stats, buffs, and hidden synergies. You’ll even get breakdowns of how Relics work and which ones are best for building god-tier runs. though, it own’t change the crappy RNG that makes or breaks a run.

Art & Lore: This guide isn’t just practical—it’s beautiful. Expect pages packed with concept art, exclusive enemy designs, and full Remembrance dialogue for all the Nightfarers. And yes, it comes with premium art prints of each Nightfarer. Frame-worthy, no question.

Head on over to Bandai Namco’s official online store or Amazon to pre-order a copy for yourself. Something tells me that this book is going to be very popular among gamers and content creators. Miss out, and you’ll regret it.
