Summer of Magic 2025 Heats Up for Australia

By Karl SmartOctober 27, 2025
Summer of Magic

Things are heating up down under as Australia & the rest of the OCE region head into the summer months. Aside from playing a round of backyard Cricket under the deadly laser known as the sun, and feasting on Christmas food like seafood, cold ham, and salad, Magic: The Gathering players can also head inside, escape the heat, and play in the yearly Summer of Magic event at their WPN-approved local card shops.

Throughout December, players can collect themed Summer of Magic prizes the more they play. Prizes include a Loot acrylic standee, fridge magnet, and a set of five dry-erase tokens they can use to create their own creature tokens, while supplies last. Stores will also receive Loot bumper stickers to share with their community.

Events are heating up at your local WPN store

Summer of Magic returns to your local game store, featuring new and exclusive rewards for Aussie and Kiwi players. Whether you want to compete, chill out, or learn to play, your local WPN store is the summer hotspot. Grab your mates and join the action from Dec 5 – 31.

Chaos Sealed, with a new twist

Kicking off Summer of Magic on December 5th, participating WPN retailers will host their first Chaos Sealed events featuring a lineup of new and fan-favourite boosters. Chaos Sealed is a limited-time event and is your first opportunity to obtain this year’s themed rewards.

Summer-themed rewards

What’s more, there are new rewards for playing in events all month long. Players can earn cool rewards the more they play, including a Loot acrylic standee, a Fridge magnet featuring all the cool planes we visited in 2025, and a set of Summer of Magic dry-erase tokens – so you can draw your own cool Gargoyle, Centaur, or Cat Dragon token! Stores will also receive Loot bumper stickers, so check in with your local game store if you’re keen to represent everyone’s favourite orange creature on your vehicle.

Players earn stamps by participating in the following events during the Summer of Magic season:

  • Chaos Sealed Summer of Magic Events
  • Friday Night Magic events
  • Limited format events
  • Standard format events
  • Commander format events

Summer of Magic will be heating up soon. Contact your local WPN retailer to learn more or visit the Summer of Magic webpage. You can find your nearest store using the Store & Event Locator
