Street Fighter 6 Outfit 3 Costumes Revealed

Ever since Capcom went 3D with their flagship series, on their own, Street Fighter is no slouch to alternative costumes for characters in their main games. Personally, I’ve loved Ibuki’s Street Fighter V Battle Outfit, for one, but that’s one of the MANY I got on the favorites end. Capcom has also done some insane work for Marvel vs Capcom 3 skins, including a Ryu skin from his debut appearance in the first game. Capcom revealed the Street Fighter 6 Outfit 3 skins for characters, and these are no exception.

The design team spilled the tea on their Outfit 3 models with some beautiful concept art, from Luke getting his original Street Fighter V duds to Kimberly gearing to something more ninja jpop-like. The original cast are getting those and the explanations now, while A.K.I., Rashid, and Akuma are due for next year.

Outer Inspirations

Some of these notes are fascinating at best. For instance, Cammy’s new Super is inspired by her appearance in the legendary anime that Walter White voiced, Street Fighter 2: The Animated Movie. Capcom decided to go all in with her jacket. However, this isn’t the first time we’ve seen the iconic red robe on Cammy. After her performance in this anime, Street Fighter Alpha 3 and other Cammy intro appearances had her sport the icon jacket first. Then, she throws it off, ready and willing to throw those red gauntlet hands.

The red coat Cammy wore in the Street Fighter II movie was so striking that I designed her to wear a similar red coat that she might wear when going undercover. I designed the coat in a more modern and functional style that I thought would suit her. I also gave her a pendant to symbolize the bond with her allies. — The Design Team.

Take a look at these while they are on display in drawing form. My personal favorites from here would have to go to Deejay, Kimberly,  and Jamie. The look on Jamie feels pretty close to other Chinese martial artists and possibly the twins that he looks up to – Yun and Yang. Cammy’s is definitely on that list. Marisa, too.  The new looks will be here on December 1st in the game.

Street Fighter 6 is available on PlayStation 4 | 5, Xbox Series X | S, and PC.
