Splatoon 3 Side Order DLC Gets Overview Trailer

By Todd BlackFebruary 13, 2024
Splatoon 3

It’s been a long time coming, but Wave 2 of the Splatoon 3 Expansion Pass is getting close to release. The “Side Order” DLC will have you playing an Octoling named Agent 8 in an “order-infused” version of Inkopolis Square from the second title. There, you’ll team up with Pearl, who’s a drone in this DLC, to ascend the Spire of Order to save Marina! Today, Nintendo dropped a special overview trailer to help gamers prepare for the trials ahead, of which there will be many!

One thing the trailer notes immediately is that you’ll need to be ready to play this game over and over again, as the challenges of each floor can easily overwhelm you if you’re not careful. As you ascend the spire floor by floor, you’ll need to pick the objectives to complete, and with each win, you’ll get chips to power up your character. Choose wisely, for if you fail, you’ll start all over again! But, you can also get permanent upgrades for your Octoling to give them a better fighting chance as you go higher!

Will you be ready for the Splatoon 3 Side Order DLC? Check out the trailer below, and test your abilities on February 22nd!

Also, a new “Fresh Season” will drop on March 1st! Check out the trailer below!
