Sonic Racing CrossWorlds Drops Ichiban Content

Now go for infinite wealth and race wins!
By Todd BlackNovember 5, 2025
Sonic Racing CrossWorlds

When Sonic Racing CrossWorlds was announced, the main hook of the game was to be able to play as not only beloved characters like Sonic the Hedgehog and all his wonderful friends, allies, and enemies, but also characters from “other worlds.” Specifically, ones from other SEGA properties and beyond!

Today, SEGA dropped the second free character for players to enjoy, and that character is none other than Ichiban Kasuga from the Like A Dragon franchise! He’s a fan-favorite, and he’ll definitely feel at home with all the crazy action that’s going on around him on these insane tracks.

Again, the content is free, and not only will you get Ichiban as a driver, but you’ll get his ride, the Dragon Brave, and there will be some special emotes and sound effects for Ichiban to showcase. Plus, as noted on the game’s Twitter feed, there will even be a special “festival” for you to enjoy tomorrow:

Ichiban Kasuga is joining the race TODAY!

He's ready to try out his newest job as a racer…will he have what it takes?

And hey, if Ichiban isn’t your cup of tea, which would be odd, as he really is awesome, then fear not, Sonic Racing CrossWorlds has some other big characters coming soon, including Hatsune Miku, and Mega Man! Stay tuned!
