Capcom really doesn’t want anyone forgetting that Resident Evil Requiem is creeping closer. To drive that point home, they’ve released a brand-new video titled Road of Requiem, hosted by Maggie Robertson (the voice behind Lady Dimitrescu in Resident Evil Village).
The short feature is a stylish, lore-packed recap of the events of the Resident Evil saga that, as named, led to the events of Requiem, tying decades of viruses, villains, and more into one tight package. Whether you’re new to the series or a long-time survivor of Raccoon City’s chaos, it’s the perfect refresher before the nightmare continues in Resident Evil Requiem. Yes, it’s nothing more than a glorified ad, but it’s an interesting one, that’s for sure.
Resident Evil Requiem is now available for pre-order and there’s mention of yet another Resident Evil Requiem showcase that will be taking place early 2026.
Give it a watch.
Oh, wait… there’s more.
Resident Evil Requiem will be available in two versions: Standard and Deluxe Editions. The Deluxe Edition includes the same base game as the Standard version but adds an exclusive pack of five costumes, four weapon skins, two screen filters, two weapon charms, and more.
In celebration of Capcom’s debut on the Epic Games Store, players who purchase Resident Evil Requiem through Epic Games Store will receive exclusive Resident Evil-themed collaboration items in Fortnite, such as the Grace outfit. These items will be distributed after the release of Resident Evil Requiem, with more details to come soon.
A special edition Resident Evil Requiem Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller will also be available from Nintendo on launch day. This controller features gunmetal-inspired black designs based on the game and is perfect for players who want to show off their fandom.
Finally, Grace from Resident Evil Requiem will become the first-ever Resident Evil amiibo, launching in Summer 2026. There aren’t any images of this as of yet.
We still have quite the wait until Resident Evil Requiem releases on February 27, 2026, and wait, is killing me. Getting hands-on with the demo was a tease and I can’t wait get more playtime with the game.
