The Pokémon Company International has officially announced that the Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Mega Dimension DLC will launch on December 10, 2025, for both Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch. Alongside the DLC reveal, a new side mission featuring the Mythical Pokémon Diancie has been released for players to experience right now. This will be a paid DLC, however, the price has not yet been revealed.

Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Mega Dimension introduces Hyperspace Lumiose, a mysterious alternate version of Lumiose City shaped by spatial distortions. Guided by donut chef Ansha and the Mythical Pokémon Hoopa, Trainers will explore this warped dimension filled with powerful new challenges and legendary Pokémon. The DLC also marks the debut of Mega Chimecho and Mega Baxcalibur, expanding the Mega Evolution roster in exciting ways.

Check out the trailer below:

Trainers can also claim a Diancite Stone via the Mystery Gift feature in Pokémon Legends: Z-A. This unlocks a new side mission titled “Shine Bright Like a Gemstone,” where players can encounter and catch the Mythical Pokémon Diancie. Completing the mission allows Diancie to Mega Evolve into Mega Diancie, unleashing its radiant power in battle.

If you’re still exploring Lumiose City for the first time, make sure to read our full Pokémon Legends: Z-A review for our thoughts on how Game Freak has reimagined the series formula for the new generation of players.

Pokémon Legends: Z-A is currently available for Nintendo Switch and Switch 2.
