It feels like quite some time since a new Pokémon game arrived, especially given that a certain title has been teased for a while before actually getting its release date. However, after a long time of waiting and speculating, Pokemon Legends Z-A has finally arrived on the Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. The title is the latest in the spinoff line and will focus on the player protagonist, who has come to Lumiose City after it has undergone an “urban redevelopment plan” to help make it a place that is better suited to both people and Pokémon.
To that end, you become part of Team MZ, who help keep the city safe, and investigate strange matters that are going on within it, including an outbreak of Mega Evolved Pokémon! As if that’s not enough, you’ll get to take part in the Z-A Royale, which will have you fighting trainers at night to climb the ranks to get your chance to have a wish come true!
