When the Nintendo Today app was first revealed, fans weren’t sure just how “big” the news we’d get from the app would be. Sure enough, we’ve gotten inside looks at classic games, the release date reveal for the Legend of Zelda movie, and more! The most recent post, though, which you can see below, is a live session recording of the classic Xenoblade Chronicles track “Gaur Plain.” The RPG franchise by Monolith Soft is known for many things, but its music is key among them. Every entry in the series, including the most recent Definitive Edition they released on Switch, is distinctive, but this game helped start everything off.

All four games in the Xenoblade Chronicles franchise are now on the Nintendo Switch, which means there’s plenty for you to play while you wait for whatever Monolith Soft is cooking up next! We know it’s likely going to be on the Switch 2, but the what and the when are still a mystery. Maybe the app will tell us in due time!
