New Super Mario Galaxy Movie Cip Debuts At The Game Awards

"Hi...I'm Luigi!"

Super Mario Galaxy Movie

There were a few “interesting surprises” at The Game Awards tonight, and one of them was the newest clip from the Super Mario Galaxy Movie that’ll drop next year. It was a little on the short side, only about 30 seconds, but we did get to see a battle between Bowser Jr. (dressed in his Super Mario Bros Wonder form) going up against Mario and Luigi (with Luigi pulling off a Captain Falcon move that was honestly kind of cool.) You can check it out here:

I’ll admit, I was kind of hoping for more here, as we still don’t know some key elements to the upcoming movie. I am glad we didn’t get to hear Chris Pratt say anything meaningful in the footage (again,) as the less we hear from him, the better. Still, I hope a new trailer arrives soon, because fans will be curious about what else awaits them in the galaxy above.

The Super Mario Galaxy Movie will arrive next April.
