By Sean GarmerApril 16, 2025
Doom the Dark Ages

If there is one sphere of gaming that Microsoft’s Xbox brand has figured out, it is definitely the accessories. Between the Xbox Design Lab, their innovations within the accessibility space, Xbox loves having a special controller for anything they possibly can.

So, it should come as no surprise that they’ve announced the Doom: The Dark Ages Limited Edition Accessories Collection featuring a special Xbox Series X/S Controller, an Xbox Elite Wireless Series 2 Controller, and an Xbox Series X wrap all modeled after the upcoming DOOM: The Dark Ages.

What’s in the DOOM: The Dark Ages Accessories Collection

Doom the Dark Ages

First up, the DOOM: The Dark Ages Xbox Series X/S controller retails for $79.99 (USD) and is currently available on the Microsoft store in a limited capacity, with possible retail availability coming later. It features the green and silver colors, blood spatter coloring, the Slayer mark, 3D silver helmet spikes at the front top, and silver sheathing on both sides.

Secondly, there’s the Xbox Elite Wireless Series 2 Controller, which retails for $199.99 and releases on April 25. It features a red metallic look with ember flakes and the Slayer mark.

Lastly, the Xbox Series X console wrap retails for $54.99 and features a rocky look on the wrap for texture along with blood splatter on the sides and a big Slayer mark on the front of it.

Well, whether you are a DOOM super fan and looking to pick up all of these accessories or if you may just be interested in one of the items at least Xbox is showing love to one of gaming’s most iconic franchises. Soon everyone will get to experience the next game in the series when DOOM: The Dark Ages releases on May 15, 2025 on Xbox Series X/S, PC, PlayStation 5, and on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass as well.
