InvincibleVs Closed Alpha Date Revealed

By Kevin KellyNovember 3, 2025
InvincibleVS Halloween Special

The tag fighter InvincibleVS Closed Alpha dates were announced by Quarterup Studios in their Halloween Special. The special goes into the paint of how the system works for fights. The UI shows what character types they are at the start. The build shown at the stream will not be the same as the Alpha build forthcoming. Executive Producer Mike Willette and Combat Designer Reepal “Rip” Parbhoo gave out the preview and discussed character choices.

InvincibleVS Behind Closed Alpha Doors

November 21-24th will be the dates of when the playtest will happen for consoles. In a sense, it feels a bit of the opposite of what 2XKO is doing at the moment with their early launch.
InvincibleVs
Casual, Practice, and Tutorial will be available. Every character revealed will be available to try out. Luckily, the Practice Room will be exposed to help garner deep dives for characters and systems by the masses. These characters will be available:

  • Invincible
  • Atom Eve
  • Bulletproof
  • Thula
  • Rex Splode
  • Battle Beast
  • Omni Man
  • Cecil
  • Monster Girl
  • Robot

The battle stages have also been chosen, too. These have shown up in trailers from time to time. Especially during scene transitions of where a character will be knocked into next Tuesday and back. Especially during the Moon fights. Space seems to be a prime choice for showing that a battle is larger than life for 2D fighters these days. Just ask Namco Bandai, who inevitably chose Space for both Tekken 8 and Dragon Ball FighterZ stages. How breathing and gravity work in Space for 2D fighting games is beyond me. If Power Rangers could do it in the Saban era for Forever Red, anything is possible.

  • Hometown Invasion
  • Himalayas
  • Moon
  • Training Room

InvincibleVS Closed Alpha will be available for PlayStation 4 and the X Box Series X | S. No word on if Steam or PC will be included in further tests. Signups are available now.
