Insiders Are Doubling Down On New Nintendo Direct Claims

Can Nintendo just confirm it, please?

September is here! And with it will come many big releases, including the release of a certain long-awaited indie game. However, for a certain group of fans, they’re hoping that a Nintendo Direct is coming this month. If you recall, last week, multiple “insiders” made claims that one was coming on the 11th or 12th of this month. Nothing has been announced by The Big N, as of yet, but that isn’t stopping those insiders from making their claims known once again. The first of the two insiders to say so is SwitchForce, who actually started the rumor of this new Direct.

He went onto YouTube and did a video reaffirming his beliefs, while also teasing both in his video and in his comment section that this Nintendo Direct would be a “general direct,” and not a game-specific one like we had recently with Kirby Air Riders, and that some big announcements would arrive in it, stating:

“This is shaping up to be a massive General Direct for Switch 2.”

He’s pointing to the 12th, which is next Friday, as the date when things will happen. Though again, until Nintendo themselves confirm it, it’s just a rumor.

Then, there’s NateTheHate, who backed up what SwitchForce said. Stealth over on Blue Sky noted:

NateTheHate confirmed there is a Nintendo Direct on September 11th or 12th.

So, yeah, if these two are to be believed, and they are confident in their beliefs, a Nintendo Direct is coming. If it’s a general Direct, which is what everyone wants, we’ll FINALLY get more insights into the Nintendo Switch 2 lineup for the end of this year and the beginning of next year.

However, we’ll say once again, these are just RUMORS and SPECULATION from two guys who CLAIM to have inside information. Yes, we want this to happen, but it might not. We’ll see.
