IDID Makes K-Pop Debut with First EP “I did it.”

Starship Entertainment’s newest boy group, IDID, officially launched their first EP titled “I did it.” The EP, which launched on September 15, contains eight tracks, including “CHAN-RAN,” which is described as a song that highlights the band’s unapologetic attitude and the core message of “The falls and the scars are still part of me.”

Other tracks on the EP include:

  • STEP IT UP
  • SLOW TIDE
  • ImPerfect
  • So G.oo.D
  • STICKY BOMB
  • Taking Off – Through Your Dreams
  • Blooming CROWN

Members of IDID offered quotes about their debut:

PARK SEONGHYEON:

“What sets us apart from other groups is our youthful energy.”

JANG YONGHOON:

“We aim for a ‘high-end’ refreshing vibe and strive to express a range of emotions in our own instinctive style. Following in the footsteps of our seniors, we are making our debut after five years. We’re beyond happy to debut and will work hard to become Starship’s next great boy group. Like Coldplay and Bruno Mars, we want to become a group that defines an era. We hope we can also hold world tours and participate in overseas shows to sharpen our performance skills and achieve musical growth.”

BAEK JUNHYUK:

“Another goal of us is to make a strong first impression and win the Rookie of the Year award.”

The album is described as more than just a collection of songs, but rather a journey through eight different types of emotions. Each track carries its own texture, but the core runs a single thread: raw emotion and unrefined energy.
